Monday Mashup songwriting

 

Today for Monday mashup i played with chrome music lab here is my song that I made and my theme was to make two smiley faces. 

Gaint clouds

Giant clouds came rushing over me like massive waves.Then a thunder storm hit.It came over me and snap I ran inside I was a little scary then a big BANG!It was a massive struck of lightning came it was big and dark The big cloud turns Gray and then a earthquake hit.It was not strong then the tsunami Syrian went of.We hoped in the car straight away.we went to the top ff a hill turns out my mum just had a look at her Facebook and turns out it was just a practice Syrian.

For inquiry I am working with Alexis.For the last weak we have bean learning about volcanoes and so far me and Alexis have made a paper mashe volcano here are some interesting facts i have found.When a volcano erupts lava, ash and gas is expelled from it.The liquid in a volcano "freezes" to form volcanic glass.Lava is made up of crystals, volcanic glass, and bubbles volcanic gases.

The story of me and my friends.Part 1

 Once upon a time me and my friends called Anameka Aria Nyah and Ashleigh went on a walk in the green dark forest.It Was fun until a big crash came. We were so scared but not me. I asked Anameka to look after Ashleigh and Aria when i went to look. On the way to look I saw someone I asked if he could help.Excuse me do you know where that big loud bang came from I said. I think I know where that is he said. but I will take a long time to get there. Okay can i  go and get my friends relay quick because i left one of my friends in charge of 2 of them. Okay fine .girls come with me. Anameka Aria Nyah and Ashleigh said why to be continued.

 Today we were learning about Temperature. And we filled up cups of ice Hot water and cold water.

 We had to guess items the weighed less then the weight at the other end.

Weighing Packets.

For math's we were learning about weight. First we  had to choose a container or a packet. Next we wrote down the weight and if the packet was close to the real weight or not. After we put some sand in the packet. Finally we had to weigh the packet.

I noticed you do not have to fill the packet to the top with sand because sand is probably not the same weight as the products the that were in side the box.

The more we guess the closer we get to the right amount.  

food Earth

 today we made we made the earth out of chocolate m&m and and melted chocolate i know it douse not  look like it. we craced it to look like the tectonick plats.we used the m&m as the innercore and the outercore 

the melted chocolate was the crust of the Earth and the marshmallow was the mantle.

The egg Earth

 Today we looked at an egg and how it could represent the Earth. 

Did you know that an egg can represent the Earth even no it's not a sphere.

The brown part around the yoke stands for the outer core in the Earth.

The yoke stands for the inner core in the Earth.

The white part stands for the mantle in the Earth.

The egg shell stands for the crust.

Measurement.

 Today in maths we were learning about capacity. In capacity we were learning about ml and l. And one of the actives were to see how many cups you can put in a container and put the amount of blocks beside the container. The second active was to see how many cups you can put in the container. And the last active was a race to see who can put the sand in the ice cream container useing a cup or half a table spoon.

The great journey of Kehu and Brunner

   THE GREAT JOURNEY                               

Kehu and Brunner left at queens town to milford sounds

Kehu and Brunner had  no food  they got forced to eat seaweed they were starving took about  a couple days to get very very hungry. they went to the buller river.

Kehu and Brunner made a ladder out of rocks and vines to get to a big enough spot so  Kehu and Brunner can sleep on it.

It took 550 days to get there.

They ran out of food after a wile they had to eat there dog.

Brunner was probably the first to understand Maori life.

After a year Brunner had a stroke and Kehu would not leave Brunner to die.

My Reflection Term 2

I am proud of cross country because I gave it a good go.

My challenge was the  Bridle path walk because I got so tired.

What we have learnt :Maths because I got to learn my times tables reading because i love reading. Writing because it is fun. Inquiry because I get to help people.

Working together :Making damper bread with my buddies.

Highlights :Ukulele because I get to strum the strings.

Next term I would like to do Some baking because I have a good skill at baking.

Bridle path walk.

 Bridle Path walk.

Why did we go? To experience what the early Europeans had to do. but they had to carry all there belongs.

What did you do? First we had to go over the very tiring hill. And then we had to go down the very steep hill

How did we feel? So so puffed on the Bridle Path walk .

How did you feel when you achieved it? i felt so impressed and proud when i achieved the end.

For our inquiry about belonging and NZ history, I have chosen to investigate old fashion recipes from the 1850s and 1860s  here is my research.

Today I made a dolphin mosaic art out of paper. First I drew four designs on a white piece of paper and then I chose one design to draw on a black piece of paper. we cut up some pieces of card board and glued it onto our design that I drew. this is what I came up with. I'm happy with my art work.

What i learnt from my trip to Ferrymead.

 I learnt:

• Children should always be seen not heard.
• Ladies before gentleman.
• We had to do 2 man crosscut to get more wood.
• People got one bigger size shoe then there foot so they can use them for a long time and put news paper in the bottom of them.
• colonists are rich Steerage are poor.
• they lived in a v hut.
• we ironed  the clothes and then folded them.

We made bread and butter from in the 1850-1860

Today we made bread and butter like in the 1850-1860.

Me and my class

made bread and butter. First, we made butter in a jam jar, we put cream,we put one button in. Then, we went around in a circle there was about 21 people shaking it really hard. 

Then, we made the bread, with self raising flour. Then, we cut the butter into small pieces. We added 1

 and a half cups of water. We also added a tiny bit of salt into the bowl. Next we kneaded the bread into a dough. Then, we put it in the oven for 30 minutes at 230 degrees. Then, we went out to break and when we came back in the bread was ready. 

I loved the bread because it tasted like the scones my dad makes. I would like to make it at home.

how to make fluffy slime

 1.  1\2 a cup of glue .

2. 2 or 3 drops of food colouring.

3. 1 or 2 table spoons of baking soda.

4.  add shaving foam as much as you whant .

5. add any activator but not add saline solution.

and your done have a good time with your slime . if you add more shaving foam it will be fluffier.

There were three mice. They are knitting denim clothes to wear. There are boots and a hat. I wonder what they are doing? One mice is working on the denim jacket. Another is doing denim pants .The last one is doing denim overalls. They are all making clothes for each other to share. "This is so much fun" we all said".

I found it hard because Lachlan kept running away around the bike track.

 My group didn't work together that well because we all kept on splitting up.
